All authors, editors, and reviewers must comply with these principles to ensure research publication integrity, transparency, and credibility.

1.1. Authors’ Responsibilities

Originality & Plagiarism Prevention

Manuscripts must be original and should not be under consideration elsewhere.

Plagiarism detection software (Turnitin/iThenticate) is used before acceptance.

Text similarity must not exceed 19%, excluding references.

Al plagiarism should not exceed 30%, and the sections where AI assistance was utilized should be mentioned.

Ethical Approval & Clinical Trials

Studies involving human subjects must have IRB/Ethics Committee approval and comply with the Helsinki Declaration.

1Clinical trials must be registered in an internationally recognized database (e.g., ClinicalTrials.gov/ https://ctr.dra.gov.pk/ ).

Conflicts of Interest & Funding Disclosure (ICMJE COI Form)

Authors must declare all potential financial, institutional, or personal conflicts.

All funding sources must be disclosed in the manuscript.

Editorial Independence & Fairness

Manuscripts are evaluated solely based on academic merit, free from commercial influence.

Editors must not disclose manuscript details to anyone except the author(s) and reviewers.

Conflict of Interest & Recusal

Editors must recuse themselves from handling a manuscript if a conflict of interest exists.

Double-Blind Peer Review

MedEye Publishers follows a double-blind peer review process to ensure impartiality.

Constructive & Ethical Review

Reviews should be objective, constructive, and free from personal criticism.

Review Outcomes

Accepted: Minor revisions required.

Minor Revisions: Authors must revise based on feedback.

Major Revisions: Extensive changes needed; may require a second review.

Rejected Manuscript does not meet the journal's standards.

Authors can opt for an expedited review process with a decision within 2-4 weeks.
Additional fees may apply for rapid processing.

3. Open Access Policy

MedEye Publishers supports Open Access (OA) to enhance global knowledge dissemination.

3.1. Licensing & Copyright

Authors retain copyright and publish under Creative Commons licenses (CC BY 4.0 or CC BY-NC 4.0).
Articles are freely available for reading, sharing, and adaptation.

3.2. Article Processing Charges (APCs)

Transparent Pricing: APCs cover editorial processing, production, and hosting.
Waivers & Discounts: Available for authors from low-income countries.

4. Copyright & Licensing Policy

Authors retain copyright but grant MedEye Publishers a license to publish and distribute their work.
All published articles will be freely available under Open Access terms.

5. Submission Guidelines

5.1. Manuscript Preparation

Formatting: Manuscripts should follow the journal-specific formatting requirements.
A structured abstract (Objectives, Methods, Results, Conclusion) must be included.

Language & Style: Manuscripts must be in clear, scholarly English.
Non-native authors should seek professional editing services before submission.

References: Recent (last 5 years) references must be used, formatted in Vancouver or APA style.

5.2. Submission Process

Online Submission System: All manuscripts must be submitted via the MedEye Publishers online portal.

Cover Letter Requirement: A cover letter explaining the study's significance must be included.

5.3. Post-Submission

Acknowledgment & Tracking: Authors receive an email confirmation upon successful submission.
Manuscripts can be tracked through the submission system.

6. Research Integrity & Misconduct Handling

MedEye Publishers follows COPE’s guidelines for handling research integrity issues.

6.1. Research Misconduct Definitions

Plagiarism: Copying others’ work without proper citation.

Data Fabrication/Falsification: Manipulating data to mislead readers.

Duplicate Submission: Submitting the same work to multiple journals.

6.2. Corrective Actions

Minor infractions: Authors may be asked to revise the manuscript.

Serious infractions: May result in retraction, institutional reporting, and author blacklisting.

7. Post-Publication Corrections & Retractions

MedEye Publishers follows COPE Retraction Guidelines for handling post-publication issues.

Errata: For minor errors that do not impact conclusions.

No advertisements that conflict with the scientific integrity of MedEye Publishers' journals.
